Eliot called Gerontion (the name means “little old man” in Greek, and the poem is an internal monologue, reflecting the opinions and impressions of an elderly man who describes Europe after the First World War through the eyes of a man who lived most of his life in the 19th century). In the world of Reason, in search of truth, it is difficult to distinguish reality from its reflection, illusion, if you will, as if you were in the “Hall of Mirrors”. Starring Michael Fassbender, Jeffrey Wright, Richard Gere and Katherine Waterston. This cast has enough reasons to try five, and it’s a really good show to boot. I wouldn’t be surprised if I see this show and most of the cast will be nominated for some awards this award season. The series tells the story of a secret CIA agent (Fassbender) who is ordered to leave his secret life and return to the battlefield with his ex-lover (Waterston), with whom he is still in love. His love for her begins to interfere with his real life and mission. If you are a fan of spy thrillers or good detective series, give it a try. You will not be disappointed.
