This animated anthology series features original stories set in the worlds of iconic video games. Video games have made a huge leap to the screen, and we’re celebrating the genre by taking a closer look at over 50 video game adaptations into movies and shows. Clive Standen reprises his role as the voice of Demetrius Titus, the protagonist of the video game Space Marine 2. The episode takes place after the events of the game.
I really enjoyed this show!
I was really disappointed when I saw the critics saying this show was only halfway through. I watched it and all I can say is that most of the critics are wrong. The episodes could have been longer, that’s honestly my only complaint. If you like video games, you should definitely check this show out.
It’s also a quick watch
Now I want to replay some of these games after watching their episodes. I guess the idea behind Secret Level is to attract new players, and in that regard, I think they succeeded. There was also heart in a lot of the episodes, which I also really liked. I hope this show succeeds enough to warrant a season 2.

If they do make a season 2, the only thing I think they need to improve on is the length of the episodes. I really, really hoped that they would all be at least 20 minutes long. Overall, I’m grateful that we got this show, because video games mean a lot to a lot of people, including me. You rock!
