Honestly I’m more of a watcher/listener than Ben Whishaw reading a restaurant menu or the minutes of a local council meeting, so I’ve always been a fan of this one. There are some great supporting performances in Black Doves and For the Lonely and this is a must-watch series if you like your comedy dark. Ella Lily Hyland as Williams and Gabrielle Creevy as Eleanor are my two favorite characters here. As for Kathryn Hunter as Lenny Laine, let’s just say her performance is sublime. Add to all of this the gorgeous sets and stagecraft, and this is an absolute winner for me. No need to waste time scrolling endlessly – here’s the full lineup of new movies and TV shows streaming on Netflix this month.
